A guide to job search websites

image
Job search websites can be an effective way of finding and applying for jobs.
You can usually register free, create a profile and then set up email alerts.
You can post your CV online, which can make it quicker to apply for jobs through the site. Some job search websites also have “Employer” sections where prospective employers can browse candidates CVs to find the right person to fill their vacancy.
You can also go directly to the websites of companies you’re interested in working for and looking at their “careers” or “vacancy” pages. Some employers only post their jobs there, so they know the people that apply have proactively sought out the opportunity
